I’m incredibly thankful for Anna’s support before, during, and after my birth! Being my first birth experience, I had so many questions. Anna was one of the first people I came to with questions, and I knew I could trust her to listen, empathize, and share honestly, even from her own experiences. I can’t emphasize how valuable it was to have someone to process such a major life transition with, especially as I tried to filter through all of the (sometimes conflicting) material I was reading and advice I was receiving from a million places. She never pressed me in to any decisions but helped me weigh all the options as I thought through my birth preferences.
Even in a traditional hospital birth setting, Anna arrived with physical and emotional support that I otherwise wouldn’t have had. She even came with tools and ideas that we talked through during labor. I truly had more peace of mind knowing that she was holding my hand (quite literally!) as a guide through all of it.
Anna also helped me process some difficult postpartum and newborn challenges in the early weeks. That was a time when I felt like I had even more questions than during my pregnancy, so I was thankful to lean on her during that difficult season when everything was so new! Anna has such a personal approach to her work as a doula, and I would gladly recommend her to anyone who is preparing for motherhood!

This was my third pregnancy, and with a surprise fall, and fractured tailbone – my husband and I were looking for help. Anna was the perfect fit! She was very flexible, respectful of time, but also held the meeting as long as we needed, answering questions and working through concerns. When plans for my birth changed, she was available to step in when needed with her assuring and calming nature. We decided on a natural induction with my midwife a couple days later.
The day came, Anna arrived, willing to help prepare for anything that get me ready for birth. During labor, Anna had a calming presence that held space for me. Providing suggestions or physical touch, keeping my injury in mind. When I was in a position that she couldn’t help physically, she held my hand and prayed for me and my baby. Anna helped to provide the spiritual connection during labor that I longed for, making my birth so God-led. After birth, she made sure that me, my baby and my husband, were all taken care of.

Our experience with Anna has been everything we had hoped for. She’s supportive, caring, resourceful, both with her knowledge and other professionals, and overall has just a very calming demeanor. The fact that she has her own children really leaves you feeling like she understands what you’re going through. I would highly recommend working with her. She also brings in a Christian perspective if that’s what you’re looking for, which we were. She was integral in pregnancy and now postpartum in making sure we kept/keep first things first.
Our son is here, healthy, and mostly happy (unless he’s hungry that is), and my husband and I would point to Anna as someone to lean on to make sure that happened.

Anna was an incredible support throughout my pregnancy, labor, and delivery. She was always available when I needed to talk or had questions, and she brought such a calm, steady presence into the experience. I especially appreciated that she is Christian and gently incorporated faith into her support, including sending scripture for encouragement, which meant a great deal to me.
Anna stayed with me for the entire duration of my labor and delivery and was consistently calm, reassuring, and encouraging. She helped create a peaceful atmosphere during an intense and emotional time. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring doula who brings both professional support and a gentle, faith-centered presence.

I appreciated having someone by my side every step of the way. I especially appreciated having an advocate for me with the medical providers and nurses. It meant a lot to me to hear that the choices I made for my birth were good decisions. It also was so nice to have someone to ask any and all questions to throughout the whole process, from pregnancy, to preparing for baby, to birth and postpartum, my questions were all answered!!
